Every year, Counseling Inc. participates in the trick -o- treating the town event. Local area schools bring bus loads of trick-o-treaters to Tishomingo and the local business hand out candy. Some years Counseling Inc. will hand out candy to 500-600 kids.
Counseling, Inc. is a proud agency of United Way and for the past three years we have participated in the Annual Valero Chili Cook-off. This years theme for the United Way Campaign was "Every Dollar Counts." We, at Counseling Inc., know that every dollar helps someone in our community get the help they need.
The theme for this years chili cook-off was open to whatever the team wanted to do. We decided to go with Pirates. Our team name was "Me Hearty Chili." We won the award for "Judge's Choice." This was such a fun event and we loved meeting a few of the local agencies also supported by United Way. It was wonderful to see the positive impact an agency like United Way has on our community.
